Samsung Faces Exynos 2500 Production Issues: Galaxy S25 May Switch Entirely to Snapdragon

Samsung was initially set to launch the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025, featuring Exynos chips for the standard and Plus models, while the Ultra was expected to use Snapdragon. However, recent reports from Korea suggest that Samsung may switch to Snapdragon chips for the entire lineup. The shift is due to low production yields of the Exynos 2500, raising concerns that there won’t be enough units ready in time for the launch.

This version enhances readability, improves SEO with keywords like "Galaxy S25 series," "Exynos 2500," and "Snapdragon," and provides a smoother flow.

According to Business Korea, Samsung Foundry is facing a 'low yield' with its 3nm process, though exact figures were not provided. In chip production, yield is never 100%, as chips are cut from circular wafers, leading to some waste. Additionally, not all chips pass quality certification, causing yield to vary across production lines.

If the report holds true and Samsung opts for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (also expected to be branded as Snapdragon 8 Elite), it would mark another setback for Samsung’s semiconductor business. The company has already lost key orders from Nvidia and Apple, which shifted to TSMC for their AI-driven chips.

This version sharpens the focus on key information, improving SEO with relevant terms like "Snapdragon 8 Gen 4," "3nm process," and "semiconductor business," while also enhancing clarity and flow.
