Samsung Revamps Galaxy Store Revenue Model: Developers Now Earn 80%
Samsung is changing its Galaxy Store revenue model to offer developers an 80/20 revenue split starting May 15, improving from the previous 70/30 structure. This new model applies to all paid apps, games, themes, and in-app purchases. While this move may not bring back Fortnite, which Epic Games removed due to new sideloading concerns, it aims to attract more developers and boost content on the platform.
